Knowledge Sharing Session

In May 2023, we started a Knowledge Sharing Session Series focussed on providing guidance to social entrepreneurs from experienced speakers sharing their expertise. On 13 May 2023, the SI Lab team conducted the first Knowledge Sharing Session focussed on CSR funding. The event aimed at providing guidance to social entrepreneurs on the process of raising CSR funding. Former mentees, Nitesh Bhardwaj from Ulgulan Foundation (NCSI 2020) and Akshita Sachdeva from Trestle Labs (NCSI 2018) shared their successful fund-raising experiences, thumb rules and insights with the audience. 

The second session, on 10th June, was part two on CSR Funding. Former mentees Sumedha Joglekar from Vaani Deaf Children’s Foundation (NCSI 2021) and Santosh Phad from Thinksharp Foundation (NCSI 2020) shared their successful fundraising experiences and insights with the audience. 

The third session of the series was conducted on 29th July, focusing on Government Grants. The event aimed to provide guidance to social entrepreneurs on the process of securing Government Grants. Former mentees Shubham Singh from Craste and Tanuj Gigras from Nayam Innovations shared their successful fundraising experiences and insights with the audience. 

The fourth session of the series was on 19th August, focusing on International Funding. Former mentee Rahul Bakare from Urdhvam Environmental Technologies Pvt Ltd shared his successful fundraising experiences and insights with the audience. 

The sessions were interactive and saw active participation from attendees during the Q&A. More than 290 social entrepreneurs benefitted from the Knowledge-Sharing sessions. Many participants also showcased their interest in participating in more upcoming events by the Social Innovation Lab.
